Gaynes Park Essex Engagement Photography
Daniel and Kerry will be getting married in a few months time at Gaynes park in Essex. They wanted to get away from usual London wedding photography venue hence having the location outside the London hustle and bustle. We met up at the location for an engagement shoot on a bustling Sunday afternoon in June to recce the venue as well as meet up for the first time to create some exciting pre wedding images.
How lucky I was to have two weddings at the same venue in the same summer. Gaynes Park in Essex was the location for this pre wedding engagement shoot with the lovely Daniel & Kerry. They will be getting married very soon so it was a great opportunity to meet up to talk about the finer details of the day as well as taking part in some warm up photos before the big day.
I am often asked why we even have an engagement shoot. I always have held the opinion that it is a great way to get to know the couple before the nerves set in before the wedding day in an environment that is a laid back affair with little pressure, we can share ideas and collaborate with the input of the look and feel of the images. Its a great way of the couple feeling relaxed in front of my camera, they have enough to deal with on the day without having to think about where the camera is going to be. More often than not we most people feel uncomfortable when you first get the camera out so its a terrific way of quashing those fears. We also have an awful lot of fun too! But most important of all the couple have some amazing photos to take away as a memento of the day to share with friends and family. Often the bride and groom use these for either invitation or thank you cards once the special day is over. Look forward to seeing you again soon Gaynes Park.
